Most small picture frames are designed with an easel for tabletop display and a top bracket so the frame can be hung on a wall. The bracket is typically a sawtooth type or a metal loop. With the saw tooth bracket, you can move the frame right or left along the saw tooth so it will hang in a level position. If you have struggled with trying to hang a picture with the metal loop, you know how frustrating it can be trying to keep the loop in an upright position so it can be attached to a nail or hanger on the wall.Kudos to the designers of this Framework frame for designing a quality product.First, there is no loop or sawtooth bracket if you want to hang the picture on the wall. Instead, there is a sliding bracket which makes it easy to attach to a nail in the wall. If the frame isn't level, move the frame right or left as the bracket slides along the cardboard backing. Want to hang the picture on the wall? The bracket slides off the cardboard backing so the frame will be flush against the wall.Second, most frames have an easel that extends across the back of the frame onto the outside bottom and side border of the frame. Not so on this Framework picture frame. The easel is designed to stay inside the bottom and sides of the frame so if you attach the frame to a wall, the frame will be flush against the wall. I use command strips to attach picture frames to the wall which is difficult to do when the easel prohibits the frame from being flush.I highly recommend this frame due to the design, glass instead of plastic and the features mentioned above.
